The Duo Portal System has been specially developed for agricultural enterprises that want to combine flexibility with convenience. This fully mechanical system automatically rolls the cover over the silage pit, preventing oxygen, rain, and pests from damaging the roughage. Within thirty minutes, the pit is completely sealed—without the need for extra staff or heavy lifting. This not only saves time and energy but also prevents feed loss and preserves the nutritional value of the silage. As a result, the pit remains clean, orderly, and consistently high in quality, season after season.
Flexible working with the duo portal system
The Duo Portal System consists of a fixed frame and a mobile rolling unit. During covering, the rolling unit automatically and tightly rolls the cover over the silage pit. Once the pit is completely covered, the sheet stays firmly in place, creating an airtight seal. The great advantage of this system is that the rolling unit can be easily moved aside. This allows you to open, fill, or empty other silage pits while the feed in the covered pit remains fully protected. It offers maximum flexibility and makes the system ideal for any farm where efficiency and convenience are key.
